The registry key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Apps Path\MSCONFIG.EXE was pointing toward the wrong file at C:\Windows\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\MSConf~1.bak I changed MSconf~1.bak to msconfig.exe and all is working now. All my IT people where I work love Windows 7 and I realize we're able to fix most problems thrown our way but we had I think only a minor problem Inside are some numbered folders, simply go into any one of them and navigate to Windows\System32 and extract the MSConfig.exe to your System32 folder. I see nothing in the variable path column of the systems variables section that says "variable path".
