I then restarted qmail. Also, just sending a kill to qmail-send will not flush the queue. I may have to rebuild it. Any idea how to fix this?I have done some searches on Google and it looks like inthe past people have thought this was a problem with thequeue folders getting corrupted.

If you don't want the patch, just rmdir the extra directories 0,...,22 in todo/ and intd/. Advanced | Reports . What steps did you follow to do this? Forums .

warning: unable to stat mess/22/22 No, I have not tampered the queue by hand - I had a hanging send process a while ago and killed the server - perhaps that I looked at qmail-tcpok and it appears this only deals with qmail-remote. It won't to anything to correct inconsistencies in the *contents* of the queue, which is the problem you have. when I have a look at the mail logs through the server-manager it says: messages in queue: 8 <- this varies as it should messages in queue but not yet preprocessed: If you do want it, heed the warning that comes with the patch. - Harald mail at oliwel May9,2007,9:33AM Post #5 of 8 (3781 views) Permalink Re: Probs with queue - unable to I find it very > surprising that 'rpm -V qmail' would generate no output after running those > commands. > > A simpler and safer process to re-create an incomplete queue

Ohh I didn't remove the queue dir, just reran the make setup. get redirected here Iassumed because I did not see it appear the first time the"qsecretary" program ate it or something. That was probably unwise. For now, I ran qmail-tcpok and now I have thousands of: Jun 25 13:34:14 qmail: 1088192054.603780 warning: unable to stat mess/0/0 Jun 25 13:34:14 qmail: 1088192054.603883 warning: unable to stat mess/1/1 Comment 2 Charlie Brady 2012-02-09 07:07:59 CET (In reply to Nick from comment #2) > I've tried different scripts for the removal of messages, correction of > queue permissions, even emptying

I'll just do as you said and wait and see if the problem resolves itself, thanks again. Yes, my password is: Forgot your password?

If I didrun the queue-repair tool I don't see what it would changeto correct this since it appears to be set up properly.Again I think it's some kind of coding error I think that the cause of my problem was flood of spam into my server, I have tuned up my spamassassing and RBL settings and will try qfixq. Any thoughts? my review here What tool?
