Thefact that you gotno responses is indicative that we have nothing to offer based on theinformation you gave. That could be due to file system corruption, or due to improper efforts to delete messages from the queue.
Can anyone enlighten me as to how to best go about repairing this such that the locally queued messages waiting for processing get just that and sent? Such as qmailqueue or bigtodo Other than the Plesk directions (wiping out the queue and creating a new one), there are some scripts out there which also try to repair the Generally it would mean queue corruption or perms/ownership problems. Deleting the incomplete messages in your queue will correct your problem. If it is filesystem corruption, maybe due to an unclean shutdown, then there is nothing to fix in either qmail or SME server software. Such as: http://www.jms1.net and download qfixq But also check to make sure your partition is not running low or out of space. I'll just do as you said and wait and see if the problem resolves itself, thanks again.

Your queue contains info about undelivered messages, but not the message files themselves. However, when I tried "telnet my.qmail.server 110" I got a connection refused error.
