PageLines Inc. 200 Brannan St. udisks 1.x broke floppies entirely (bug 441835), and udisks2 fixes that. Happy Holidays to all. I initially went to 11.04 to get kernel 2.6.38 but since that is now available as a backport I don't see the attraction in non-LTS versions.

Maverick changed my udisks and udisks-doc to 1.0.1+git20100614. By and large I think it's correct as it is now -- after all, when the BIOS tells us that there is a floppy controller, the kernel detects it, and the Vestibulum luctus ipsum id quam euismod a malesuada sapien euismot. Hope that helps!
