is there a fix? If the session user you are trying to shadow has dual monitors, it will not work under any circumstances regardless of how many monitors you may have. I had this issue, couldnt take remote control of anyones sessions (on any of my 12 servers) and a box coming up saying "access denied" after a while i found that Works on our server 2012 r2 terminal servers though. Thanks for the help! The mstsc session is being started from Windows 7 SP1.
